Good Afternoon GCSD Community, 

Beginning Monday, April 13, free breakfast and lunch will be served to all children aged 0-18 years old in the Grand County community. We have received word that our breakfast and lunch program is now being federally funded like our summer lunch program. Lunch will continue to be distributed this week. No meals will be distributed next week as it is spring break for the District. 

We at GCSD know how important this is to our community and we are excited to continue to provide school meal delivery to all our kids.

This is friendly reminder that next week is spring break so there will be no classwork assigned and no meals delivered. Breakfast and lunch will be served starting on April 13th. Here are some other lunch options for next week from Youth Garden Project and Moab Valley Multicultural Center. We hope you all have a restful break.

A screenshot of a fake news story, that claimed Utah Gov. Gary Herbert would have students repeat their current grade next year, made the rounds Wednesday. The screenshot, which makes the article look as if it ran on KSL.com, is false and appears to have been doctored. The story never appeared on KSL.com.

The lunch pick-up locations WILL NOT change and this WILL NOT impact students who pick-up lunch at their school. The delivery time changes are minor but please review and make sure your student(s) arrive 5 minutes prior to the pick-up time! **The City Route Times Have Not Changed**

During the extended school closures, (March 13- April 10th) school lunch service WILL CONTINUE daily EXCEPT over Spring Break (April 6-10) and over the weekends. As a reminder, lunch is available for ALL GCSD students, at no cost.
