Grand County School District is excited to implement a new program made possible by a generous donation of $15,000. This program allows the district to evaluate students' social and emotional readiness, along with strengths and weaknesses.

Community members are encouraged to visit the TestUtah mobile clinic for free Covid-19 testing on Friday and Saturday. You do not need to have any symptoms or be a Covid-19 close contact to qualify for a free test.

Grand County School District Board of Education voted on Feb. 17 to approve adding one day of professional development for educators to the district calendar as allowed by the Utah Legislature. The day the district has chosen is Monday, April 26. There will be no school on April 26, 2021.

Classes taught in English and Spanish by licensed mental health professionals support children ages 9-12 learning about divorce and family separation. Offered by the Divorce Education for Children program with the Utah State Courts.

On Friday, February 12 from 8-3 pm and Saturday, February 13 from 12-7 pm the Utah Department of Health is offering free COVID-19 rapid antigen testing in Moab. Results will be available within 30-60 minutes. Anyone can get tested at these free testing clinics, even with no symptoms of COVID-19. You may register online for an appointment time at TestUtah.com. You may also register onsite.

Students and parents are invited to a virtual info session on Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. to learn more about Concurrent Enrollment courses offered at Utah State University!

Grand County's newest school, slated to open in the first part of April, will be Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School.
