The Truth about Tax Rates

Submitted by haleyl on Mon, 08/15/2016 - 14:34

After holding a Truth in Taxation hearing on August 3, the Grand County Board of Education has approved the district’s tax rates for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. After a brief presentation from Grand County Schools Business Administrator Robert Farnsworth, the board voted in favor of freezing the tax rates in order to help pull in new funds that can be used for capital building projects, and help offset the impacts of inflation.

As spring approaches, we realize love is in the air,

We also realize there will be less clothes you will wear.

Remember there are rules for both,

holding hands and hugs are fine,

anything more at school and we will draw the line.

As for your clothing, the School Dress Code is quite fair,

if you look at page 17 of your planner, you will find it there.

If you cannot comply, sorry you will be,

Because you will have a talking to from your teacher, or worse, from me. –Ms. Caylor
