*All girls interested in playing girls basketball next season , please attend a meeting Tuesday May 22nd at 3:00 in the Library.

 

*Interested in football next year – there is a meeting in the gym after school today.

*Any girls interested in mountain biking there will be a meeting Wednesday in the ceramics room during lunch. 

*Students interested in FCCLA pick up an application this week from Mrs. Black in room 122

*Girls interested in Tennis~ there is a meeting Friday, meet on the commons steps after school

 

Do you want less stress and more balance in your life? Less tension and more ease in your body and mind?  Do you want some breathing room in your school schedule?

 

Next fall, the YOGA & MINDFULNESS P.E. elective will be offered second and third hour. Talk with the counseling office today.  Space is limited.

 

 

**ATTENTION SENIORS - A representative from the Department of Workforce Services will be here Monday, May 21st from 10:00-11:00 in the TSAC Office Conference room. Students who are taking a year off after graduation, looking to work full time, or would like some information about employment opportunities, this is a great opportunity to meet with professionals to help with post-secondary planning. Questions, contact Brittany (TSAC 203)

 

**SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY** The new Moab Food Truck Park opening Memorial Day weekend is looking for students to work over the summer. If you are looking for a job, or interested in finding out more, stop by the office for more information.

 

**JUNIORS INTERESTED IN EMS COURSE** There will be a meeting Wednesday May 23rd at 2:45 in the commons area for all juniors interested in taking the EMS Certification course next year. There is important information we will be discussing so it is vital you attend the meeting! 

 

Attention students interested in healthcare/medical occupations - We are looking to start a Emergency Service Technician class next year (2018-2019) This course will be taught by Grand County EMS and will allow students to take the State paramedic exam, which could result in graduating with a EMS/Paramedic License.

 

If you are interested in taking this course, please sign up in the Counseling Office, or contact Brittany Rappe (TSAC 203) for more information.

*Seniors~ Sign ups for the Senior Trips are in the office ,

 

 

*Michelle, a Mentor, has organized an after school homework group. All high school students who would like some help with their school work can meet at the Grand County Library on Center Street. The group meets on Tuesdays from 4:00PM to 5:30PM in the conference room of the library. Snacks are provided.
